Warnings:

First of all, this file definitely contains spoilers about the endings of the game.  Read only if you really want to.

Since the ending codes were something I had not figured out during the time of release, there are endings in which dialog text formatting are buggy.  These endings are not tested, as there is no way to trigger these endings until I have time to figure out the code.  Anyway, if you see some ending dialogues that are not formatted properly (there are even some translation mistakes), please bear with it.

Introduction:

If the main game is said to be composed of a series of sub-quests, then the ending can be said to be composed of a series of sub-endings.  Depending on how you solve the quests for various playable characters (or NPC) along the game, each sub-ending may or may not appear.  I have listed most, if not all of them here, just for fun and to let you know what you have missed without playing the game n times.

Main characters' Ending:

Not too many people know or claim that they see multiple endings for each character.  In fact, there are always more than 1 ending for each main character.  The most famous one, which I brought up to public through the message board a couple of months ago, is the Harid's ending.  Many complains that the Princess is being ignored in the ending, but in fact there is a way to "revive" the Princess.  It is very hard to find out how to make this

happen, though, without looking at the source assembly code.

-- Julian --

Ending #1: (most common, and better, I think): Mikhail compliments Julian that he has protected Monica well.  He makes Julian a Baron so that he can be together with Monica.

Requirement: Accept to be Monica's guard in the early game and lose her in the shipwreck incident.  Or it works also if she is in your party.

Ending #2a: Julian declines to work for Mikhail.

Requirement: Decline to be Monica's guard in the early game and she is not in the party.

Ending #2b: Julian goes back to Shinon to visit Ellen and Sara.

Requirement: Ellen is in the party.

Note: Ending 2a and 2b can occur simultaneously if both requirements are fulfilled.

-- Ellen --

Ending #1: Ellen stands outside her house and talks briefly with Sara.

Requirement: Julian is not in the party in the last battle.

Ending #2: Same as ending #2b of Julian's endings.

Requirement: Julian is in the party.

-- Sara --

Ending #1: Same as ending #1 of Ellen's endings.

Requirement: Ellen is in the party.

Ending #2: Similar to ending #1 except dialogue is slightly different.

Requirement: Ellen is not in the party.

-- Thomas --

Ending #1: Thomas bids his uncle farewell and returns to Shinon.

Requirement: Haven't completed the Business Game (all 3 phrases)

Ending #2: Thomas take some pocket money and go for a trip.

Requirement: Completed the Business Game (all 3 phrases)

-- Harid --

Ending #1: Harid is thinking about his princess and princess actually appears!

Requirement: Open up Kings' Capital on the world map, but does not defeat the dragon lord and get the Kamsheen (shouldn’t even try fighting it).

Ending #2: Harid is thinking about his princess, but eventually he decides to earn more money instead.

Requirement: Never open up Kings' Capital on the world map, or you have obtained the Kamsheen (even if you drop it at the end, it won't work.)

-- Mikhail --

Ending #1: Loanne has become strong, and you will be declared "King" or "Duke" (depending on how well you perform on the Ruling Game).

Requirement: Perform well enough on the Ruling Game

Ending #2: Mikhail decides to leave the work to his shadow servant.

Requirement: Poor performance on the Ruling Game.

-- Monica --

Ending #1: Same as ending #1 of Julian's endings.

Requirement: Lose Julian in the shipwreck incident, or escape with Julian and keep him in your party.

Ending #2: Monica wants her brother to get married first.

Requirement: Never play the shipwreck incident and Julian is not in the party.

-- Katrina --

Ending #1: Katrina sees Mikhail and declines to stay by his side.

Requirement: Mikhail is not in the party.

Ending #2: Mikhail reveals that the fact that Katrina was granted Masquerade means she is to be the wife of the Marquis, and he asks Katrina to stay.

Requirement: Mikhail is in the party.
